My Story

Reclaim Sunshine Psychiatry is the culmination of over a decade of experience working with people who made courageous decisions to change their lives for the better – in essence, reclaim their sunshine.

My work in the treatment of addiction and psychiatric disorders has allowed me to appreciate the resilience that lives within all of us.

My approach combines an appreciation of each individuals’ unique life story with my clinical expertise in addiction and mental health disorders. I believe that every individual is a work in progress and that growth is built with grit and experience. My goal is to empower people with the knowledge, insights, and helpful tools to help them heal and recover.

I have seen firsthand that there are many paths towards success – defined differently by different people. That is why I emphasize collaboration, so that the treatment we integrate in your story is individualized to you. This allows you to lay the foundation to be the greatest version of you yet.

Prior to Reclaim Sunshine Psychiatry, I was the Director of the Addiction Services at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital and the Assistant Medical Director of Substance Use Disorders for Massachusetts General Brigham – Boston’s most renowned teaching hospitals and medical system. Through my affiliation with Harvard Medical School, I teach and mentor future physicians and current providers. I am also a sought-out speaker and have published in academic medical journals. I am a bilingual, bicultural doctor and enjoy working with people of diverse ethnic backgrounds, cultures, and experiences and regularly implement therapy as part of my practice.
