Medication for Addiction
Evidence based treatment for substance use disorders.
FDA approved medications are available, including buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid use disorder, naltrexone and other medications for alcohol use disorder, and medications for nicotine use disorder.
While other addictions do not have FDA approved medication regimens, we will explore treatment options for cocaine, cannabis, and other substances that can be helpful.
Medication Management
Medication management services will include an understanding of your past medication trials, treatment experiences, and preferences.
The treatment we choose will be individualized to you and target your symptoms, minimizing side effects and maximizing benefits.
Medication plus therapy
All of your sessions will have some degree of therapy intervention – whether it is supportive, cognitive behavioral, or insight oriented. Specific forms of therapy may also be offered depending on your treatment needs.
